No Strings Attached Sex – Can You Handle It?

Think you can handle casual sex? There are 4 important questions you must ask before you jump in and do the horizontal samba without strings.

Abstinence isn't a realistic or appealing option for many singles. Even if you're seeking a committed relationship, casual sex is likely to happen along the way. Some people can emotionally handle casual sex and others can't. Still others tell themselves they can handle it, but are really sabotaging their search for something more meaningful.

It's understandable why many singles don't want to give up sex entirely while looking for "The One" - after all, that might take awhile.

But there is no escaping the fact that sex complicates things. For many of us it complicates things a lot. If you are seeking a committed relationship, sex can be especially complicated. Too often we expect that sex means the same thing to us and our partners, and this is not always the case.

Read on at The Huffington Post to determine if casual sex is for you.

When I was single, I wouldn't say I was promiscuous, but I was able to have 'no strings attached" sex. I guess it depends on the personality of the person who's doing it. I have a friend who's married and has a man on the side. She's unhappy with her husband, and is doing all she can to get out of the marriage. But she's getting "attached" to the guys she's messing around with, even though they don't feel it's more than "casual". I tell her to divorce her man and stop putting emotions into the act of sex.....I guess for women, it's a bit harder.
